Actuarial Common Entrance Test (ACET)

Eligibility Criterion 

1 .  Students who have appeared 10+2 or an equivalent examination and waiting for the result

2 .  A candidate who have passed 10+2 or any other higher courses/examinations.

3 .  Diploma

4 . Finance, or any other stream, but you have love for Mathematics and skills in Numeracy.

5 .  Mathematical Sciences: Maths, Statistics, Econometrics or any other.

6 .  Engineering 

7 .  Management 

8 .  Chartered Accountant , Cost Accountant or a Company Secretary .

Structure of Exam
Now ACET examination in Home Based Online Format with effect from October 2020.

It’s a 3 hour, 100 marks online exam which has 70 multiple choice questions with one correct answer for each question.

The total distribution of questions would be:

  1. 45 questions-1 mark each
  2. 20 questions-2 marks each
  3. 05 questions-3 marks each

The Allocation of Marks will be as under:

1. Mathematics – 30 marks
2. Statistics – 30 marks
3. Data Interpretation – 15 marks
4. English – 15 marks
5. Logical Reasoning – 10 marks

*There will not be any negative marking for incorrect answers.
